The Intique Story
I didn’t grow up thinking I would create a brand.
Intique didn’t start from childhood memories or a big dramatic moment.
It started when I moved to London.
Every time I met someone new, I had to explain where Algeria is.
I used to say it over and over again.
And it always felt strange that a place so rich, so warm, so full of culture, history, music, beauty and pride… was something the world didn’t recognise.
I got tired of explaining.
So I decided to show it instead.
Intique became my way of carrying home with me, even when I was far away.
A way to say:
“This is who we are. This is where we come from.”
I do remember the small things about my childhood, summers, the beach, the warmth of being with my parents.
That feeling of belonging.
That’s the feeling I try to put into every piece.
I want you to feel proud when you wear Intique.
Proud of your roots.
Proud of your identity.
Proud of your culture.
Proud of supporting Palestine.
Because our culture deserves to be seen.
And we deserve to wear it with confidence and nostalgia.
This is Intique.
From home, to wherever we are now.
